Deviation Actions
As I do from time to time, I have gone through the "Art By Our Members" gallery folder and removed some stored deviations. I'm not sure if the submitting member receives a notification that the deviation has been removed, but if you do, or if you notice this, please be aware that the removal has nothing to do with your art other than that it is in storage, leaving an ugly gray box in its place. I don't like having those in the folders, so I remove them as I see them. If you 'unstore' the deviation in the future, feel free to re-submit it to the group.
We have a number of new members, and of course, welcome to all. Please be reminded that you can submit up to two deviations per week here to the "Art By Our Members" gallery folder. Please pay attention to folder names, and be aware that the other folders are for art photographed/created specifically at D. M. Gremlin Studios events such as our monthly devMEET/Open House and workshops. If you were not present in person at those events, you should not be submitting to those folders. You can also submit blogs about art, music, and industry related events. They will be approved and show up in the group after submission.
Recently, I accepted a number of deviations submitted (completely properly) by members to the "Art By Our Members" folder. I saw only a couple of them show up in the folder that day, and have not yet seen a couple of them show up in the group gallery, despite having the admin message log show that those deviations were indeed accepted to the group. Anyone who has tried to get tech support from dA knows what a waste of time it would be for me to submit a help request - so all I can say is, if you are one of about 2-3 people who recently submitted a deviation and did not see it show up in the group gallery, please feel free to 'remove' the deviation from the group and re-submit it. I will accept it again and we'll see if we can get those deviations to show up properly this time.

The Deans: Spirit of 85
Mobius Chair: Nectar
Thomas Bellier: Ehecatl
Hilary Bell: Rosie & Andy - Bilingual Songs for Children

Nov 2 Artistic Lighting Workshop - Report!
Thank you very much to all of the participants in this past Saturday's workshop - our models, StMerrique (https://www.deviantart.com/stmerrique) and HourglassDeviant (https://www.deviantart.com/hourglassdeviant), and our attending photographers! The event was a wonderful success, full of creative exploration, learning, and shooting, and we're already beginning to see some fantastic images posted!
Here's a gallery folder in the group's gallery for photos from the workshop!
Thanks also to ebenbrooks (https://www.deviantart.com/ebenbrooks) for his enthusiastic writeup/review - read about it here!

Nov 2 Artistic Lighting Workshop - ONE spot left!
This Saturday brings us to our current Artistic Lighting Workshop for studio photography, and we have just ONE spot left to include another participant!
The workshop is November 2, 10am-6pm, at D. M. Gremlin Studios in N. Long Beach, CA. Event is limited to 6 photographers, so even a sellout event will assure plenty of time and attention for each participant, for shooting, questions, etc.
We have two wonderful models for the day: HourglassDeviant (https://www.deviantart.com/hourglassdeviant) and StMerrique (https://www.deviantart.com/stmerrique).
A gallery of images of both of these ladies from our previous workshops can be seen here (18+ for artistic nudity).
The Nov 2 workshop day will focus on creating a scen
